Meet The Doctor

Patrick A. Scioscia, DMD

 

Dr. Patrick A. Scioscia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.  He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.  Dr. Scioscia is an active member of the South Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association and the Greater Columbia Dental Association.

Dr. Scioscia attended Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr., College of Dental Medicine where he was awarded membership to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and earned his Degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Scioscia completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through Seton Hall University, School of Graduate Medical Education and Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey. Following residency, Dr. Scioscia served on active duty in the United States Army at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, SC from 1992 to 1996.  He received an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Major, was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal.
